Our parent company New Directions has been announced as ‘Compliance Team of the Year’ at the Women in Compliance Awards 2016.

The awards celebrate the achievements of female compliance professionals and the success of the compliance industry through diversity. They recognise and reward the outstanding contribution that women make every day in the world of business.

In 2015, New Directions launched OnlineDBS to provide external access to its purpose-built, highly effective online DBS system for organisations UK-wide.

Leah Seltzer, Head of Compliance and Quality Assurance for New Directions, said:

“Words cannot express how delighted we are to receive this award. To be shortlisted was an absolute honour; to win the award with such tough competition was out of this world and hugely rewarding for our team.”

The award was presented by the BBC’s Louise Minchin. It was won by leading telecoms operation Orange in 2014 and by internet giants Google in 2015.

New Directions faced competition from Accenture, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, GE-SBI Card, Monsanto, NFU Mutual, Williams Lea and Yorkshire Water.

Headquartered in Cardiff, New Directions provides recruitment and training services to the education, care, pharmaceutical and commercial sectors.
